Sad news from Kay Allison Johnson

Dear Class,

I am heartbroken to share some tragic news. Last Saturday, my sister Jean suffered a severe fall while moving a small table from her truck. She hit her head, causing a brain bleed and a major hematoma. Despite undergoing surgery, she unfortunately did not survive. It feels incredibly unfair, especially since she had just moved into her new townhome in Chapel Hill and we were planning several trips together for her retirement.

Because Jean was an organ donor, she was only recently released from the hospital. We are planning a Celebration of Life service for her, likely toward the end of August, and the details will be posted on the Clements Funeral Home website once finalized.

Please keep my family and me in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you so much, Kay
