Our class has friends that have health issues, live alone, live in assisted living, etc. I’m confident that I don’t know everyone’s situation but there are two of our classmates I am aware of. Phyllis and Curtis are both living in assisted living facilities. Phyllis is at Eno Pointe Assisted Living in Durham and Curtis is at Treyburn Rehabilitation Center in Durham.
I had an opportunity to visit both Phyllis and Curtis recently and they both were in good spirits and happy in their living environment. However both of them expressed how good it makes them feel when someone from their past visits or sends them a card to let them know they are not forgotten. Please, I encourage to drop them a note on occasion to just say ‘hello’ or even better pay them a visit if you can. Their contact information is included below.
