Two weeks ago this morning I was taken into surgery. I went on bypass at about 3:30 that afternoon, and was moved into recovery somewhere around midnight. I was in ICU by 1:30, vent out by 3. Yesterday I was cleared to drive by my primary care Dr, and am beginning to get back into what I want to do.
I cannot tell you how blessed I have been and how much my friends have provided support. Quite a journey, to say the least, but almost back to normal already.
